While most of the occurrences are similar to Indian marriages, there are also some that make a pakistani wedding special. The Nikah, the Islamic ceremony meeting, is the most significant occasion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epilepsy.com\/stories\/valentines-day-not-just-lovers\" rel=\"sponsored\">https:\/\/www.epilepsy.com\/stories\/valentines-day-not-just-lovers<\/a>. In front of a Qazi and the child&#8217;s people, it is a religious gathering.<\/p>\n<p>The Mehndi day, which is a day filled with elaborate henna designs, is a popular custom. The couple&#8217;s closest girl friends and family members gather together to decorate their hands and feet with indigo, which represents both beauty and excellent fortune. Mehndi evening is also a day of audio and party.<\/p>\n<p>A few days a week before the ceremony, the Mayun is a pre-wedding ceremony. Close friends and family members apply ubtan and crude to the princess&#8217;s hands and feet at this women&#8217;s only occasion. Then they all sing and dance to the beat of a dholki ( drum ) known as a dhol.<\/p>\n<p>After the Nikah, the couple&#8217;s residence is reached by the Barat, or couple&#8217;s procession. The groom would become accompanied by his family and friends, either on a mare or in a luxurious automobile. With dancers, pyrotechnics, and singing, this is a very magnificent and colorful event.<\/p>\n<p>The Walima, or the bridal reception, is when the Barat is over.
